Job summary

Lumbermen’s, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeks a Solid Surface Fabrication associate to join our Grand Rapids facility. This role fabricates solid surface countertops, performing layout, cutting, and assembly to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous Carpentry experience.
• Ability to do physical labor including lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Based out of our Grand Rapids, MI facility, the Solid Surface Fabrication team fabricates solid surface countertops. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Job layout and optimization of materials
• Properly measuring and cutting materials (includes use of saws, routers, sanders, etc.)
• Building countertops to customer specifications
• Preparing and labeling countertops for shipment

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
