Job description

Based out of our Byron Center, MI facility, the Solid Surface Fabrication team fabricates solid surface countertops. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Job layout and optimization of materials
• Properly measuring and cutting materials (includes use of saws, routers, sanders, etc.)
• Building countertops to customer specifications
• Preparing and labeling countertops for shipment
• This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma/GED required
• Prior fabrication or construction experience required

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabricate from stick templates
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand dimensions
• Ability to effectively work and communicate with fellow employee owners
