Job summary

Curated Events Apex, NC seeks an Assistant Production Manager to lead daily fabrication operations for the Curated Linen Collection. You will drive safe, efficient production, ensure quality, and manage inventory with the Production and Print Design Manager and Floor Manager.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with Sales and Operations, and identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and control costs while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressively responsible experience in production, manufacturing, fabrication, textile operations, or related environment.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience, including training, workflow coordination, and coaching.
• Experience with production scheduling, quality control, inventory, and operational process improvement.
• Working knowledge of expense tracking, vendor coordination, and cost controls.
• Experience in textile fabrication, sewing operations, custom manufacturing, or event rental production strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with inventory or production management systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production priorities and staffing with Production and Floor Managers.
• Monitor productivity, deadlines, quality, and resolve production issues.
• Support product launches, custom cut requests, repairs, and timely fabrication deliveries.
• Attend Sales-Operations and order review meetings to anticipate requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and proper equipment handling.
