Job summary

HEICO is seeking a Production Expeditor in Vista, CA to track, coordinate, and expedite the flow of work and materials according to the production schedule. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and is non-exempt, full-time.

The successful candidate will prioritize work orders, review travelers and drawings for required materials, and collaborate with department leads to meet production demands while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Production expeditor with strong scheduling and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with reading travelers, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ability to track workflow, inventory, and costs.
• Attention to accuracy, conformance to standards, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to Production Manager.
• Prioritizes work orders and resolves constraints to support schedule.
• Reviews travelers, drawings, and specs to obtain materials, priorities, and tooling.
• Distributes production work and communicates progress with managers to determine completion dates.
• Monitors progress and expedites workflow; tracks work orders.
• Works with department leads to ensure materials meet production demands.
• Examines documents and products for completeness and conformance to specs.
• Performs periodic and annual inventory and cycle counts.
• Assists shipping/receiving with packaging as needed.
• Participates in internal training as required.
• Ensures operators are productive and take breaks on schedule.
• Ensures Safety Procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned
