Position Type: Full-time

Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are seeking a Production Expeditor for our envelope manufacturing facility in Williamsburg, PA (non-union position).

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of progressive/relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment with attention to detail, interpersonal communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Job Summary: Under close supervision and guidance, provides support in expediting materials, services, and time to meet customer demands for all customer orders while meeting the production goals of the division that processes a below average number of orders.

Pay & Schedule: $24 - $26/hr depending on experience. The schedule for this position is 8am -- 4pm /Monday- Friday with occasional overtime / based on business needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Provides support to scheduling by expediting all incoming orders.
• Prints and reviews manufacturing orders ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Creates production job jackets; Prints and distributes machine schedules.
• Processes changes to job tickets as instructed by change order process.
• Interfaces with other internal and external departments to ensure materials are on hand to produce orders (i.e. web paper, dies, tooling, packaging material, artwork, etc.) and to ensure that schedules are coordinated with local production capabilities.
• Reviews client specifications and interfaces with Customer Service to arrive at agreed-upon shipping dates.
• Procures and distributes production samples; Maintains daily production records
• Communicates shipment/delivery information and deviations to supervisor, manager, CSR, etc.
• Initiates purchase requisitions for tooling, outside materials, etc.
• Coordinates and monitors customer releases and inventory management.
• Serves as back up Scheduler

Other (Non-Essential) Functions
Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Environment is typically general office, though the incumbent may spend short to medium periods in the manufacturing environments with exposure including but not limited to dust, dirt, high noise levels and variations in temperature.
• Occasional exposure to one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions.
• Incumbent constantly required to hear, speak and articulate.
• Incumbent regularly required to stand, walk, use color vision, grasp, reach, use manual dexterity and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Incumbent occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs and carry.
