Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a QL Production Manager to oversee the production process, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, and implement quality controls to reduce waste and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role drives continuous improvement, collaborates with procurement, engineering, and QA, analyzes production data to identify improvements, and manages budgets while reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in production management or a similar role.
• Experience with production planning, quality control, and team leadership.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead and supervise production teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
• Establish and enforce quality control protocols to maintain product consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and quality assurance departments to address production challenges and improve processes.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage production budgets, control costs, and report on production performance to senior management.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are upheld and promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
