Job summary

Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC in Sunbury, PA is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Technician to keep our roasting and packaging lines running safely and efficiently. This hands-on, on-site role requires diagnosing equipment failures, performing repairs, and preventing recurring issues through preventive maintenance.

You will work closely with operators and supervisors to maintain coffee roasters, capsule packaging lines, bagging stations, conveyors, and supporting systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with automated packaging machinery or similar equipment.
• Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Reading electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Valid driver's license and transportation to Sunbury, PA.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and restore operations safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair coffee roasters, including burner systems, fans, drives, temperature sensors, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose and repair automated capsule packaging equipment, including feeding, dosing, tamping, nitrogen flushing, lid sealing, servos, and sensors.
• Maintain and repair bagging equipment, industrial scales, heat sealers, valve applicators, and conveyors.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including lubrication, belt and bearing inspections, filter changes, seal and heater checks, and equipment calibration.
• Read electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, equipment alarms, and control system information to identify and resolve problems.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and verify zero energy before beginning maintenance work.
• Document repairs, downtime, parts usage, and recurring equipment issues; recommend solutions to improve reliability.
• Assist with the installation, relocation, and startup of new equipment.
