Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC in Sunbury, PA is seeking a part-time Coffee Roaster to operate our commercial roasting equipment and ensure quality across large production runs. This hands-on role maintains logs, supports bagging, and adheres to safety protocols while contributing to the company’s growth.

The position requires lifting 50+ lbs, standing for extended periods, and learning Cropster software. Shift is Mon-Thurs, 4pm-8pm, 16 hours/week, at $19/hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor commercial roasting equipment per production schedules and quality standards.
• Consistently produce roast profiles meeting flavor and quality specs at large volumes.
• Conduct quality checks on roasted coffee for aroma, flavor, and consistency.
• Maintain accurate roast logs and production records.
• Clean and maintain roasting equipment and workspace; collaborate to meet daily targets.
• Maintain database and production information via roasting software.
• Operate forklift to transfer coffee from inventory to roasting area.
• Assist with bagging and sealing roasted coffee as needed.
• Follow safety and food handling protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Fresh Roasted Coffee is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Coffee Roaster to join our growing coffee production team. In this role, you'll be a crucial part of our production team, operating our commercial roasting equipment to deliver consistently excellent coffee.

This is a hands-on production role that keeps you active throughout the day and plays a key part in delivering high-quality coffee to customers across the country.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor commercial roasting equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality standards
• Consistently produce roast profiles that meet our flavor and quality specifications across large volumes
• Conduct quality checks on roasted coffee, assessing aroma, flavor, and consistency.
• Maintain accurate roast logs and production records
• Clean and maintain roasting equipment and the work area. Collaborate with the production team to meet daily roasting targets
• Maintaining an accurate database and production information via roasting software
• Operate forklift to transfer coffee from inventory to roasting area
• Assist with bagging and sealing roasted coffee as needed to meet production needs
• Follow all safety and food handling protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned
