Job summary

Remington1816 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and routine maintenance on production machinery and supporting equipment. You will change over machines, troubleshoot issues, and mentor operators to uphold process integrity and best practices.

The role emphasizes safety, attendance, and collaboration with engineering and operations to meet production goals and ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; English reading, writing and speaking ability required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience with manufacturing equipment similar to in the assigned area.
• Must pass the mechanical aptitude evaluation and demonstrate basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine and minor maintenance on production and support machinery.
• Perform changeovers on production machines and related equipment in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on malfunctioning machines.
• Mentor Operators and Technicians to ensure process integrity and best practices.
• Attend shift, department and plant meetings as directed by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety rules and ISO goals and directives.
