Job summary

Ring Container Technologies in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Maintenance Technician I to keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and manage equipment changeovers as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

You will maintain records, support EAM data, and engage in continual improvement initiatives while upholding GMP-like safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical certifications and training applicable to servicing industrial equipment.
• 2–3 years of preventative maintenance in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet company OEE and quality expectations.
• Proactively address inefficiencies of production equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and process problems as needed.
• Use power tools safely to avoid injury.
• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks as outlined by Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain records and support EAM data for parts and work orders.
• Coordinate with Production/Maintenance Managers on training and development.
• Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
