Job summary

Dow is hiring Production Equipment Operators to join our Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. You will monitor and troubleshoot production units—Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities—to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Initial training is on days for about three years, after which you transition to a 12-hour rotating shift. Some roles involve travel for training at other facilities; a high school diploma, ABSA 4th Class progress, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progress toward ABSA 4th Class certification or higher.
• Minimum age 18 with a valid Canadian driver's license.
• Physically able to respond to emergencies and work in confined spaces, varying heights and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and environmental standards.
• Conduct field checks and adjust controls to optimize operations.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and isolate systems as needed.
• Follow Dow's Life Critical Standards and Operating Discipline policies.
• Collaborate within a team, demonstrating leadership, initiative, and organization.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical knowledge and operational expertise.
