Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Production Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Danbury, CT team. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real manufacturing problems, from early design ideas to final system testing, all on-site.

You will create and review work instructions, analyze SPC data, and support process improvements using ERP/MES and 3D printing for tooling and fixtures.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Engineering degree or closely related field.
• Familiarity with SPC concepts and data analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and work instructions.
• Effective written and verbal communication; team-oriented.
• Experience with ERP/MES, CAD, and 3D printing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and maintain manufacturing work instructions in a paperless system.
• Analyze SPC data and evaluate manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Work with ERP and MES systems to support production operations and improvements.
• Utilize 3D printing to develop tooling and fixtures; maintain equipment.
