Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Simsbury, CT, offers a 12-week Production Planner Intern program for summer 2027. You will work with Energetics Operations to support production schedules, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The internship provides real-world projects, mentorship, and opportunities to collaborate with Production, Material Control, Supply Chain, and Quality teams while gaining hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or engineering.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and interest in manufacturing, supply chain or ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with tracking inventory movements and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Identify material requirements and potential shortages impacting production schedules.
• Support creation, tracking, and prioritization of shop orders and material kits.
• Coordinate with Production, Material Control, Supply Chain, Quality and other cross-functional teams to support material flow.
• Maintain Kanban inventory levels and identify opportunities to improve material availability.
