Job summary

Ashland Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team at the GMP batch facility. You will provide technical support for process troubleshooting, safety, and quality, and collaborate with site R&D to scale chemistries from lab to plant scale.

The role reports to the Production Manager and requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 1–5 years in chemical manufacturing. Some travel (~10%) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 1–5 years of chemical manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in organic chemistry and unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tech support for process troubleshooting, safety, and quality in a 24/7 GMP batch facility.
• Collaborate with site and R&D to scale chemistries from lab to plant scale.
• Assist in design and implementation of capital projects and equipment.
