Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Production Engineer in Lexington, NC to support manufacturing with real-time shop-floor issue resolution, Redmine evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration. Training in Sacramento, CA is included before transitioning to site responsibilities.

The role requires an associate degree with 5+ years of experience, CAD design experience (PTC Creo 9 preferred), and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field (5+ years of similar work experience preferred).
• Experience designing with 3D CAD modeling software (coursework can be considered as experience).
• Experience with PTC Creo 9 preferred; willingness and ability to learn Creo 9.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering evaluations for design-related issues identified in production or in revenue service; lead cross-functional resolution to minimize schedule impact.
• Ensuring the fit, form and function of the specified design is conveyed to and carried out on the production floor.
• Creating repair procedures, field modification instructions, and design fixes, depending on platform and issue complexity.
