Baystar – Bayport Polymers is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee the operation of Bay 1, Bay 2, or Bay 3 units. You will act as a technical resource for operations, applying engineering expertise to optimize plant performance and to implement yield improvements and cost-saving projects.

Responsibilities include providing data-driven support to campaigns, coordinating with Quality and Technical teams, ensuring product specifications are met, and driving safety and process improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong technical competence and process knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operation of Bay 1, Bay 2 or Bay 3 units at Baystar – Bayport Polymers.
• Provide data and chemical engineering support for product campaigns.
• Collaborate with Quality and Technical teams to optimize operations and meet goals.
• Ensure product specifications are met and maintain safe, efficient processes.
• Develop production schedules and budgets for projects.
• Investigate causes of deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Stay current with product specs and engineering developments.
