Job summary

ASML US is seeking a Production Engineer 2 to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for both NPI and high-volume production. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on leadership to drive operational excellence.

The candidate should have 2–4 years in production engineering, strong knowledge of SPC/PFMEA, and experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and CAD software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 2–4 years in production engineering or process development.
• Solid understanding of SPC, PFMEA, and lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize processes for NPI and volume manufacturing.
• Implement SPC for new products and monitor process stability.
• Drive improvements for recurring manufacturing issues and quality challenges.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process specs.
• Support introduction of new products into production within a concurrent engineering environment.
• Participate in design reviews, PFMEAs, and documentation reviews to ensure manufacturability.
• Provide technical support for production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
