Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Production Engineer to lead engineering projects from concept through completion, including equipment acquisitions and facility expansions. This role emphasizes LEAN principles, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven problem-solving to drive real impact.

You will plan, manage, and optimize manufacturing projects across multiple sites, coordinating with vendors, and preparing budgets and schedules in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other solid modeling software is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement, metric development, and problem-solving is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage engineering projects from concept through completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers, facility engineers, and designers to define project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain facility layouts and engineering documentation (Equipment drawing approvals, etc.).
  • Manage external vendors & contractors effectively throughout the lifespan of a project.
  • Lead and self-manage the implementation of new equipment/technology into current manufacturing processes.
  • Apply engineering concepts for optimization of equipment, procedures, and budgets.
