Job summary

PCC Structurals in Oregon is seeking a Production Engineer to support investment casting manufacturing. This role focuses on dimensional and metallurgical engineering, tooling, process optimization, and quality improvements across production lines.

You will work with engineering and operations teams to solve problems, drive cost reductions, and ensure compliance with GD&T and blueprints. The ideal candidate holds a BS in engineering with SolidWorks and Excel proficiency, strong communication

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical, industrial, materials science engineering and investment casting.
• Experience with engineering principles, manufacturing processes, statistics, reporting, and project leadership.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, GD&T, statistics, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with all organization levels.
• Ability to work with hourly workforce to address requests.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct engineering-related problems.
• Perform hands-on process review and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing tools and procedures.
• Lead cost-reduction projects and rework plans for non-conforming products.
• Coordinate with Quality, Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, and production teams.
• May supervise engineers or technicians on projects.
