AGH Industries, a division of Aereos, LLC, seeks a Production Engineer to turn engineering drawings into stable manufacturing processes on the shop floor. You will work across engineering, quality, supply chain, and production to diagnose issues and implement lasting solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, GD&T reading, and experience with routings, ERP/MRP systems, and process improvement. On-site collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years in a production/manufacturing engineering role, preferably in aerospace or defense.
• Fluent reading of engineering drawings, including GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and military specifications.
• Working knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, and assembly processes.
• Experience writing routings and work instructions in an ERP or MRP system.
• Problem-solving discipline: 8D, 5 Whys, fishbone, or similar.
• Clear communicator who can work on the shop floor and in customer meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer drawings, specifications, and contract requirements for manufacturability.
• Build and maintain routings, work instructions, travelers, and bills of material in ERP/MRP.
• Plan machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly sequences including fixtures and inspection points.
• Specify outside processes and governing specs on purchase orders (AMS, MIL, ASTM).
• Support First Article Inspection (AS9102) and resolve findings.
• Lead root cause and corrective action on nonconformances and MRB disposition with Quality.
• Drive cycle time, yield, and on-time delivery using lean and floor data.
• Qualify vendors for special processes and source hard-to-find parts/materials.
• Answer production questions and keep jobs moving to meet ship dates.
