Job summary

Phoenix Tailings, Inc. seeks a hands-on Production Engineer early in their career to join our production team.

This role is ideal for recent graduates passionate about manufacturing, eager to work directly on the production floor, and excited to help scale clean critical metal production. This engineer will be embedded in the daily operations of our facility, working to optimize processes and solve real-world problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor advanced production equipment used in clean metals processing
• Perform in-process checks and adjustments to ensure consistent product quality
• Collect, analyze, and report production data to support process improvements
• Perform basic mechanical and operational troubleshooting on production systems
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and uptime
• Conduct equipment startups, shutdowns, and transitions between production runs
• Work closely with shift leads and operators to ensure operational excellence
• Support new process development and implementation on the floor
• Uphold and enforce safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safe operations
