A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Production Engineer to support their Clean Room Assembly department. This hands-on role requires resolving production issues, improving assembly methods, and collaborating closely with both the engineering and shop floor teams. Candidates with a Bachelor's in engineering or relevant experience will be considered.

We are seeking a hands-on, self-starting Production Engineer to support our Clean Room Assembly department in a high-mix, low-volume job shop environment. This role focuses on daily support of critical assemblies and processes, including using hand tools, installing components, inserts, pins, and bushings, and operating inspection or testing equipment. The Production Engineer will work directly on the product, helping to resolve issues, improve throughput, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining close contact with their engineering team.
This position receives technical and strategic direction from the Engineering Department and is embedded with the shop floor team, reporting operationally to an Engineering Program Manager with a dotted line to the Manufacturing Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Educational Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred, but equivalent work experience in assembly or mechanical work will be considered.

Working Conditions: The primary work area is a clean room, requiring gowning protocols. The general shop environment may include high noise levels, physical hazards, fumes, dust, mist, exposure to oils and fluids, and welding flash.
