Job summary

Victaulic in Duluth, GA is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Operations team onsite. You’ll own production engineering tasks from part codes and Bills of Materials to CAD-generated machine programs and runtime estimates, while preparing detailed cost estimates for production projects.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve drawing interpretation issues, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Ability to communicate with multiple groups across departments and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for part codes and new products.
• Create routers for estimated production runtimes and develop CAD-generated programs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for production projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve drawing interpretation issues and optimize processes.
