Job summary

The Production Engineer at Hanwha Q CELLS North America in Cartersville, GA will support day-to-day manufacturing operations, collect and analyze data, and create schedules. Works with department supervisors to track progress and resolve production issues.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years experience, knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, and strong data analytics; Korean language strongly preferred. Proficiency with ERP/MES systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Fluency in Korean strongly preferred.
• Strong math and analytic skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/MES experience.
• Ability to work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with production management to develop analytical tools.
• Identify production issues, analyze root causes, and drive resolutions.
• Assists in budget analysis and setting productivity goals.
• Compile data and create management reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and new manufacturing programs.
• Apply LEAN, Six Sigma and best practices to daily problem solving.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure material availability and staffing.
