DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Production Engineer in Cary, NC to support production risk platforms by automating reconciliation and reporting of VaR, FRTB, and economic capital metrics using Python and SQL.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience developing automation scripts and data processing workflows using Python and configuration management and workflow orchestration tools for deployment automation, reconciliation processes, and operational task management; writing complex SQL queries, developing stored procedures, and designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD and deployment processes with version control integration and automated build and release workflows; deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes in Unix/Linux environments, including configuration, deployment strategies, scaling, application monitoring, and log analysis; deploying, configuring, and supporting applications on Cloud Platforms (IaaS/PaaS), including compute services, identity and access management, networking, and monitoring/logging; performing application debugging and production support activities, including incident analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), log analysis, troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues, and implementing operational risk mitigation and system stability improvements; performing data processing, analytical computations, and data validation, including reconciliation and verification of outputs across systems; supporting daily batch processing and workflow orchestration, including execution, monitoring, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring data consistency across upstream and downstream systems.
Salary range: $106,329.00 – $140,000.00/year.
