Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Cary, NC seeks a Production Engineer to support production risk platforms by automating reconciliation and reporting of VaR, FRTB, and economic capital metrics using Python and SQL.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience with automation scripts, SQL, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments on Unix/Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 years of experience with Python automation, data processing workflows, and reconciliation tasks.
• Experience with SQL, CI/CD, deployment automation, and version control integration.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Kubernetes on Unix/Linux and cloud IaaS/PaaS.

Responsibilities

• Automate reconciliation and reporting of VaR, FRTB, and economic capital metrics.
• Develop and maintain data processing workflows and batch orchestration.
• Support production incidents with root-cause analysis and log monitoring.
• Implement deployment automation and CI/CD processes.
