Job summary

NatSteel Holdings Pte Ltd in Ohio seeks a Manufacturing Technology Engineer to support evaluation, implementation, and optimization of new production solutions across operations. You will lead projects, collaborate with planning, maintenance and logistics, and assess ROI for new equipment.

The role requires a degree in engineering, up to 5 years’ experience, and strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and data tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production or operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI or data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and operational workflows.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new production technologies, machinery and automation solutions for potential implementation.
• Lead and support technology improvement projects across production operations.
• Collaborate with production, planning, maintenance and logistics teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and return-on-investment (ROI) assessments for new equipment and technologies.
• Support machine selection, vendor evaluation, technical discussions and factory acceptance activities.
• Participate in commissioning, testing and implementation of new production equipment and systems.
• Analyse production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, capacity and operational efficiency.
• Support digitalisation and Industry 4.0 initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
• Develop business cases and CAPEX proposals for production improvement projects.
• Work with external vendors, consultants and technology partners on implementation projects.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates and presentations for management review.
• Monitor performance and business benefits of newly implemented technologies.
