Job Title: Production Engineer

Location: Kankakee, IL

Salary: $90,000-$125,000+ Bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Production Engineer to join our client's organization in the Kankakee, IL area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain daily production demands through troubleshooting with operators and maintenance teams.
2. Complete lock out, tag out documentation for maintenance and shutdown activities.
3. Manage changes for temporary operations and process improvements.

Key Qualifications:

1. Education: B.S. in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
2. Experience: 3-5 years of production engineering experience preferred; 1-2 years of hands-on field production support required; experience with small projects (50k – 250k) and mechanical integrity planning or management is a plus.
3. Knowledge/Specialized Skills: Experience with DeltaV, OSIPI, GMP, PSM, distillation columns, Six Sigma, and LEAN manufacturing is a plus.
