Job summary

Movement Search & Delivery seeks an Entry-Level Production Engineer to join a world-class OEM manufacturing environment. You will support daily operations, troubleshoot processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate is a recent engineering graduate with hands-on mindset and a willingness to learn across production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Internship/co-op or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily production operations and help resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve performance.
  • Work with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to implement process changes.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Assist with new product launches and production readiness activities.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for engineering and operations leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization supporting OEM customers, is seeking an Entry-Level Production Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in manufacturing, operations, and continuous improvement.

The Production Engineer will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot production issues, and support daily plant operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, eager to learn, and interested in developing technical expertise within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience with CAD software or manufacturing systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, assembly, or production operations.
