Job summary

Simon & Schuster in New York is seeking a Production Editor for Children's Publishing to oversee scheduling, trafficking, and production editorial work across 45-60 titles per year.

You'll manage editorial schedules, copyedit and proofreading, supervise freelancers, and work with imprints from picture books to graphic novels. Candidates should have 2–3 years production editorial experience, strong Mac and InDesign skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

Production Editor, Children's Publishing

The Production Editor will oversee scheduling, trafficking, and production editorial work for approximately 45-60 titles per year across imprints publishing picture books, middle-grade and teen fiction and nonfiction, and graphic novels.
