Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a Production Editor for Children's Publishing to oversee scheduling, trafficking and editorial work for 45–60 titles annually across picture books, middle-grade and teen fiction, and graphic novels.

You will supervise freelancers, copyedit and proofread materials, and maintain high quality and consistency across imprints. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills and Mac/Adobe InDesign proficiency to support timely publications.

Production Editor, Children's Publishing

The Production Editor will oversee scheduling, trafficking, and production editorial work for approximately 45-60 titles per year across imprints publishing picture books, middle-grade and teen fiction and nonfiction, and graphic novels.
