The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Development & Production Manager to lead the development and production of our growing socks, underwear, and bra collections. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and can balance creativity with execution—ensuring high-quality, trend-driven products are delivered on time and within budget.

You will own the production lifecycle from concept handoff through bulk delivery, working closely with design, sourcing, and leadership to bring bold, high-impact products to market.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Development
  • Manage end-to-end production for socks, underwear, and bra categories
  • Build and maintain production calendars aligned with product drops
  • Oversee tech pack execution and ensure accurate handoff to factories
  • Track development milestones: sampling, revisions, approvals, and bulk production
  • Review and approve lab dips, strike-offs, fit samples, and TOP samples
  • Source and onboard domestic and overseas factories
  • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and accountability
  • Ensure all vendors meet quality, compliance, and ethical standards
Quality Control & Fit
  • Establish quality standards across all categories
  • Partner with design to ensure consistency in fit and sizing
  • Manage wear testing and implement improvements
  • Troubleshoot production or quality issues in real time
Costing & Margin Management
  • Track product costing to meet margin targets
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality
  • Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and production budgets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with design to execute seasonal and limited-edition drops
  • Partner with marketing and sales to align on launch timing
  • Support product strategy with production feasibility insights
Qualifications
  • 4–7+ years of experience in apparel production (intimates or hosiery preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Bra/bralette production (fit and grading basics)
  • Experience working with overseas factories (Asia, Latin America preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple SKUs and deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PLM systems
  • The salary range for this position is $83,200 – $100,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications
