Job description

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Designer to support a fast-moving creative team focused on paid media. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the production side of design—taking existing creative, making updates and adaptations, preparing final assets, and ensuring files are organized and delivered accurately across digital, social, and video channels.

You'll work closely with designers and creative partners to keep projects moving through the production process, from initial creative handoff through revisions, approvals, and final delivery. While the primary focus is production, there may also be opportunities to support light graphic design work.

This is a 22-week role providing seasonal creative support.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver production-ready creative assets across digital, paid media, social, video, and other platforms.
  • Update, refine, resize, and adapt existing creative for different placements, formats, and specifications.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions following creative and leadership reviews.
  • Prepare static, video, and animation assets for final delivery.
  • Organize and maintain working files, final assets, naming conventions, and creative libraries.
  • Ensure files are accurately prepared, uploaded, and delivered according to established timelines and specifications.
  • Communicate asset status and delivery updates to creative and production partners.
  • Attend project kickoffs, creative reviews, sign-off meetings, and other production-related meetings.
  • Track multiple projects, deliverables, specifications, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, producers, and other creative partners to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Support social and influencer creative pickups by adapting approved creative into paid media templates.
  • Assist with light graphic design projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of professional experience as a Production Designer, Graphic Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of Figma; approximately one year of experience is preferred.
  • Candidates with strong Adobe XD experience and familiarity with Figma may also be considered.
  • Experience preparing, adapting, organizing, and releasing creative files for digital platforms.
  • Strong basic graphic design skills and an understanding of layout, composition, and visual consistency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Illustrator experience is a plus but not required.
What Will Help You Stand Out
  • Previous experience supporting paid media, digital, social, or high-volume creative production.
  • Hands-on experience adapting existing creative across multiple sizes, placements, and platform specifications.
  • Experience managing creative assets, file structures, naming conventions, and final deliverables.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong foundational graphic design and production capabilities.
  • Experience working within an agency, in-house creative team, retail, CPG, or similarly fast-paced creative environment.
Team & Work Environment

You'll report to an Associate Art Director on the Paid Media team, part of a broader creative organization. The team is currently small and works on a steady week-to-week flow of new projects and deliverables.

Projects typically move through kickoff, design, review, revisions, and final release over a structured production schedule. Because multiple projects may be in different stages at the same time, success in this role requires someone who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver accurate work on deadline.

Work Arrangement

This role offers flexibility and can be performed remotely, onsite, or in a hybrid capacity. Candidates located in New York City are preferred because of opportunities for in-person onboarding and collaboration, but remote candidates will be considered.

A company computer will be provided.

Interview Process

Candidates can expect an initial meeting with the hiring manager, with a possible additional interview with another member of the creative team.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who combines production expertise with solid graphic design fundamentals. You're comfortable taking existing creative and turning it into polished, platform-ready deliverables, incorporating feedback quickly, keeping files organized, and managing several deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

You do not need to come directly from fashion or retail. Experience from agencies, CPG, in-house creative teams, or other industries with transferable production design workflows can be successful in this role.
