Job summary

THE·TEAM is a production-focused studio providing branding, signage, and large-format print solutions for events and venues. The Production Designer will transform approved designs into production-ready artwork, review client-supplied files, and collaborate across project managers, designers, and installation teams to ensure flawless execution from concept to installation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production design, prepress, or related print production role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; working knowledge of InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, preflight, and release accurate, print-ready files for large-format signage, wayfinding, graphics, and branding elements.
• Review and preflight artwork from clients, vendors, and internal teams, addressing resolution, scale, color, fonts, linked assets, bleeds, dielines, and file setup.
• Adapt and resize artwork across formats while maintaining brand and production specifications.
• Create production proofs with dimensions, materials, finishing requirements, panel breaks, and installation details.
• Develop supporting production documentation including maps, diagrams, and release packages.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, print operators, and installation crews to meet schedules.
• Review production proofs, color and material samples to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and version control across multiple projects.
• Translate creative direction into production-ready layouts when needed.
• Balance multiple projects and communicate risks, priorities, and schedule impacts.
• Take ownership of work and deliver high-quality production files on deadlines.
• Expand knowledge of prepress, color management, fabrication methods, and large-format production best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and documentation.
