Job summary

AddVentures in East Providence seeks a contract Production Designer to ensure top-quality print and digital deliverables. Working with the design team in East Providence, you’ll manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and uphold strict production standards.

You should have 3+ years in production design, be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, and demonstrate strong typography and color management.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in design, production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in production design, graphic production, digital production, pre-press, or a related creative role.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Hands-on experience in print and digital production with color management expertise.
• A sharp eye for detail in typography, layout and design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, or willingness to learn and remediate.

The Role

The contract Production Designer will work collaboratively with our design team in our East Providence office to ensure our work meets high standards of quality control across a range of deliverables. They must be experienced in both print and digital production, and enjoy working in a fast-paced creative environment. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

A bachelor’s degree in design, production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

3+ years of experience in production design, graphic production, digital production, pre-press, or a related creative role

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat)

Working knowledge of Figma

Experience with both Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Hands-on experience in both print and digital production, with a solid grasp of color management and output requirements

A sharp eye for detail grounded in typography, layout, and design fundamentals

Familiarity with accessibility standards, or the willingness to learn them along with remediation tools

Clear communication and a collaborative, problem-solving approach

Also a plus: : accessibility remediation tools such as CommonLook PDF (or a related certification), Stensul or Stripo email production, AEM authoring and QA, retail production systems or module mapping, digital asset management, AI-assisted creative tools, SketchUp or Lightroom, and supporting client events or presentations.
