Job description

Production Designer
Location

Remote; candidates must be available to work primarily Pacific Time hours

Hours

Approximately 30–40 hours per week

Duration

October through November, with potential to extend into December

Our client, a globally recognized performance and lifestyle brand, is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to support a busy creative team during a period of increased project volume.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the executional side of design: organizing and preparing files, adapting established creative toolkits, exporting production-ready assets, and ensuring visual details are accurate and consistent across deliverables. The work will be highly hands-on and production-focused, so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in precision, organization, and getting the details right.

What you’ll do
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain production-ready design files in Figma.
  • Adapt approved creative concepts and toolkits into a range of final deliverables.
  • Export, resize, package, and quality-check assets for digital, marketing, and brand applications.
  • Ensure files are accurately named, structured, versioned, and ready for internal or external handoff.
  • Support the development and rollout of design toolkits and reusable templates.
  • Apply established brand standards, visual systems, and production specifications consistently.
  • Partner with designers and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage updates, and keep work moving efficiently.
  • Identify inconsistencies, formatting errors, missing assets, or production issues before files are finalized.
  • Jump in during periods of high project volume and help the team meet quick-turn deadlines.
What you’ll bring
  • 2+ years of experience in production design, graphic design, digital design, creative operations, or a related field.
  • Advanced working proficiency in Figma, including components, styles, libraries, file organization, and exporting assets.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage repetitive, high-volume production work with accuracy and care.
  • Experience preparing files for a variety of digital, marketing, campaign, or brand deliverables.
  • Comfort working within established templates, toolkits, and brand guidelines.
  • A highly organized working style, including thoughtful file naming, version control, and asset management.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and communicate proactively in a remote environment.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and willingness to support wherever the team needs help most.
  • Availability during Pacific Time working hours.
Nice to have
  • Experience supporting retail, apparel, ecommerce, consumer brand, lifestyle, or campaign creative teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience building or maintaining Figma component libraries, templates, or design systems.
  • Experience with production workflows involving multiple deliverable sizes, formats, channels, or stakeholder approvals.
  • Background working in an agency, in-house creative studio, or fast-paced marketing environment.
What will make someone successful

The strongest fit will be someone who genuinely enjoys the production side of creative work. You do not need to be the person developing the big concept from scratch; instead, you are energized by bringing an approved design system to life accurately, efficiently, and at scale. You are comfortable with detailed, sometimes repetitive execution and understand that clean files, consistent formatting, and dependable follow-through make a major difference to a busy creative team.

Compensation

$42.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a W-2 contract opportunity. Eligible employees may have access to paid time off, health, dental, and 401(k) benefits based on applicable service and hours requirements.
