The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to support high-volume creative needs for marketing, sales, events, research, and internal communications. This role brings AMT and IMTS campaigns to life through polished, brand-consistent digital and print materials.

The Production Designer will create, adapt, version, and finalize assets across channels, ensuring accuracy, organization, and on-brand execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or related field; active portfolio required.
  • 1-4 years of experience in graphic design or production design in-house, agency, association, or marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • Experience designing and formatting presentations in PowerPoint or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Create digital, print, and presentation assets for campaigns, sales, events, reports, internal communications, and other priorities.
  • Adapt concepts into channel-ready materials (ads, flyers, brochures, signage, email graphics, social assets, decks).
  • Prepare production-ready files, manage versioning, incorporate feedback, coordinate revisions to delivery.
  • Ensure materials are accurate, on brand, visually consistent, and ready for release.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify needs, manage expectations, and deliver design solutions.
  • Maintain organized creative files, templates, and asset libraries for reuse and updates.
  • Improve workflows with templates, naming conventions, and process recommendations.
  • Collaborate with vendors for print production or special creative needs.

AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology – is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative Production Designer to support the high-volume creative needs of our marketing, sales, events, research, and internal communications teams. This role brings AMT and IMTS campaigns, sales initiatives, and organizational priorities to life through polished, brand-consistent digital and print materials.

The Production Designer will create, adapt, version, and finalize assets across channels while keeping work accurate, organized, and on brand. Success requires strong design fundamentals, excellent production discipline, and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Key Priorities

Core Responsibilities

  • Adapt creative concepts into channel-ready materials, including ads, flyers, brochures, signage, email graphics, social assets, decks, templates, and collateral.
  • Prepare production-ready files, manage versioning, incorporate feedback, and coordinate revisions through final delivery.
  • Ensure materials are accurate, on brand, visually consistent, and ready for release.
  • Partner with stakeholders to clarify needs, manage expectations, and deliver practical design solutions.
  • Maintain organized creative files, templates, and asset libraries for easy reuse and updates.
  • Improve production workflows through better templates, repeatable systems, naming conventions, and process recommendations.
  • Collaborate with vendors or partners when needed to support print production, campaign execution, or specialized creative needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. An active portfolio demonstrating relevant design work is required. Please include a link on your resume.
  • 1-4 years of experience in graphic design, production design, or a related creative role, preferably in an in-house, agency, association, event, B2B, or marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and related production tools.
  • Required experience designing and formatting presentations in PowerPoint or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, image preparation, file production, and print/digital specifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, incorporate feedback, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital asset management systems, template creation, workflow tools, or file organization systems preferred.
  • Experience with video editing, motion graphics, or light animation is a plus.
