Overview

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Department Assistant whose primary responsibilities include providing support to production and scheduling through data entry and job entry processes ensuring reorder points are constantly reviewed.

Additional Duties

• Enter job orders into ERP systems based on customer purchase order requirements.
• Maintain and monitor WIP and FG reorder point for any changes in quantities; look for trends based on recent usage and sales forecast. Provide management with recommendations of findings and/or changes pertaining to reorder points.
• Print job packets and bar codes for orders scheduled by the Scheduler.
• Maintain label makers and ensure supplies are maintained.
• Support Production Manager and Scheduler as needed.
• Review and make recommendations to Production Manager and Scheduler on job packet printing contents.
• Support day‑to‑day operations of lead production subgroup order‑related workload coordination.
• Perform other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned. May work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior admin/office experience preferred.
• Work requires attention to detail and a strong math aptitude as well as strong planning, organizational, time and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be able to understand departmental operations and procedures and demonstrate reliable attendance.
• Must have knowledge of typical business operations and use of a variety of office equipment and software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and carry out written and oral instructions.

Position Details

Full‑time daylight position. 5‑8 schedule Monday‑Friday (6:15 AM‑2:45 PM).
