Job summary

TrueShort is seeking a highly organized Production Coordinator to oversee a growing slate of original series and films in Los Angeles. You will work closely with filmmakers, writers, editors, designers, composers, vendors and leadership to keep projects moving from development through release.

You’ll manage master schedules, deadlines and budgets, coordinate paperwork, and build scalable systems as TrueShort scales from 10 to 30+ productions, impacting production operations and credits.

Qualifications

• Experience in production coordination or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and project-management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple productions, deadlines and stakeholders.
• Comfort with a wide range of creatives and disciplines.
• Experience tracking budgets, invoices, contracts, or paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the master production schedule across multiple series and projects.
• Track milestones, episode status, release dates, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with creative teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Coordinate across filmmakers, writers, editors, designers, composers, sound teams and partners.
• Ensure paperwork, contracts, deliverables, and documentation are organized.
• Track budgets, invoices, production spend, and cost-per-episode.
• Flag scheduling, budget, or production risks early.
• Support onboarding and coordination of freelancers, vendors, and team members.
• Work with leadership on broader production planning and studio operations.
• Create scalable organizational systems as productions grow.
