Astrophysics Inc. in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations.

You will manage the flow of units through Electrical, Mechanical, and Imaging phases and maintain accurate WIP reporting to keep production aligned with company goals. With 1–2 years in manufacturing or assembly and proficiency in Excel and Outlook, you will coordinate with Warehouse, Planning, Engineering, and Quality to resolve bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, coordinator or support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; ERP experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Ensure smooth flow of units between production phases (Electrical, Mechanical, Imaging).
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Planning, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, or Quality to address disruptions.
• Track timelines with the daily WIP report and assist with resource allocation.
• Coordinate the receiving of staged materials to maintain workflows.
• Maintain backlog follow up and status updates.
• Serve as central contact for each production phase and communicate needs.
• Provide admin support including reports and project updates.
• Regularly update production documentation and data entry for WIP reports.
• Track metrics like time to complete a unit and downtime; report findings and suggest improvements.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Additional duties as assigned.
