Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a driven Production Coordinator in Southern Pines, NC to support manufacturing operations. You will coordinate daily workflow, assign responsibilities, manage schedules, and mentor team members to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of assembly experience with 3 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of KPI and Lean principles, and proficient computer skills including JD Edwards and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of assembly experience with 3 years supervisory experience.
• Understanding of KPI (key performance indicators).
• Understanding of Lean principles and responsibilities.
• Proficient computer skills (SSO, JD Edwards, MS Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train and support assemblers to follow procedures and quality requirements.
• Maintain production scheduling and productivity tracking with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor performance, identify development opportunities, and conduct evaluations.
• Resolve material shortages, equipment issues, and other production concerns.
• Communicate goals and delivery expectations for on-time performance.
• Uphold safety policies and proper PPE usage.
• Conduct quality inspections per ISO standards.
• Participate in MRB activities and drive quality improvements.
• Promote a safe work environment and safe PPE practices.
