Job summary

Production Coordinators are needed to support children’s apparel collections from development through final delivery. The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to manage timelines, sample activity, and clear communication with internal partners and external factories.

You will coordinate knitwear, sleepwear, swimwear and related products, work within seasonal calendars, mitigate production risks, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of production coordination experience in apparel, fashion, textiles, or a related consumer products environment.
  • Hands‑on experience managing samples, communicating with factories, maintaining WIP reports, and tracking production activity.
  • Working knowledge of apparel product development and production calendars.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, time‑management, and follow‑up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with production tracking systems.
  • Experience with children’s apparel, sweaters, sleepwear, swimwear, or similar categories is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate samples throughout development and production, including requests, submissions, approvals, revisions, and delivery tracking.
  • Maintain accurate WIP reports, seasonal calendars, sample logs, production trackers, and product records.
  • Partner with design, merchandising, technical design, sourcing, vendors, and factories to monitor progress and resolve outstanding items.
  • Follow up with factories regarding sample timing, production milestones, approvals, quality concerns, and delivery commitments.
  • Track risks related to capacity, materials, quality, timing, and approvals; elevate issues as needed.
  • Ensure product specifications, color information, sample details, and supporting documentation are complete and current.
  • Support fittings, line reviews, vendor meetings, and key seasonal production milestones.
  • Prepare clear, timely status updates and maintain organized production files.

Production Coordinator – Kids Apparel

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 DOE

Our client, a growing apparel and consumer goods organization, is seeking multiple detail-oriented Production Coordinators to support children’s apparel collections from product development through final delivery. This role is well suited to an organized professional who can manage timelines, sample activity, production documentation, and communication with internal partners and external factories.

You will help coordinate a range of apparel categories, including knitwear, sleepwear, swimwear, and related products. Success in this position requires exceptional follow-through, comfort working within seasonal calendars, and the ability to recognize and address production risks before they impact delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate samples throughout development and production, including requests, submissions, approvals, revisions, and delivery tracking.
  • Maintain accurate WIP reports, seasonal calendars, sample logs, production trackers, and product records.
