Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in inventory management, project planning, and expediting within a production environment. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations, optimizing workflows, and achieving production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: - Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production demands.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to forecast needs and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track materials and reduce waste. - Project Planning: - Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to develop project timelines and schedules.
- Ensure all project plans align with production capacity and resource availability.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Expediting: - Act as the primary point of contact for sales and production partners regarding order status and material delivery.
- Expedite orders and resolve any issues that may impact production flow.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that all materials are available when needed to meet production deadlines. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with production teams, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations.
- Facilitate communication between departments to address challenges and enhance process efficiency.
- Provide training and support to team members on inventory and production processes. - Reporting and Analysis: - Generate reports related to inventory levels, production schedules, and project statuses.
- Analyze data to make informed recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Participate in weekly and monthly production meetings to present findings and insights.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- - 2-4 years of experience in production coordination, inventory management, or project planning.
- - 3 years' experience using ERP systems (Global Shop).
- - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, inventory management software).
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
