About the Role
As Inventory Analyst Trainee you will use qualitative and quantitative data to make recommendations on the levels of inventory to send to each location. You will determine inventory deployment strategy to get products to the right place at the right time to maximize sales, leverage inventory ownership and minimize costs. You will develop strong relationships with vendors to ensure full and on-time shipment and delivery to stores.
What You’ll Do
Analyze sales data to identify trends in product movement, distinguishing top-performing items and areas for improvement
Learn about allocation and localization
Provide monthly size selling and monthly climate and location selling recaps
Analyze store inventory management reports to make inventory allocation strategy recommendations and assure healthy and profitable inventory stock position
Analyze Omni channel reports to assure optimal inventory ownership across fulfillment networks and minimize cost of shipping
Observe and assist Inventory Analysts to help make strategic inventory deployment strategies
Additional tasks may be assigned
