Job summary

Warren Lotas LLC seeks a Production Coordinator to organize the development and production of original Warren Lotas designs with guidance from the Head of Production. You will coordinate workflows, source vendors, and ensure timelines and quality across all stages.

The role emphasizes vendor management, problem solving, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment. Local LA vendor experience and cut & sew knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in development and production.
• Must have experience working with local/domestic LA Vendors.
• Must have experience with cut & sew development and production.
• Small-medium size apparel company experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, vendor coordination, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Learn and coordinate production workflows with limited input from management, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues directly with vendors, escalating when concerns are complex or high-level.
• Conduct QC on garments and ensure vendors follow Company standards, approved samples, and protocols.
• Identify risks or bottlenecks in production processes and work with management to implement proactive solutions.
• Lead communication with vendors, ensuring they have all necessary assets, supplies (labels, polybags, boxes, etc), and information for production.
• Review and reconcile vendor packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders with minimal oversight, addressing discrepancies quickly.
• Coordinate and resolve chargebacks and vendor compliance issues.
• Maintain and strengthen long-term vendor partnerships.
• Collaborate with the Production department on strategic workflow improvements.
• Support the Production team with additional projects and tasks as required.
• Ability to adapt to last minute changes and fast-paced environments.
• Ability to research and develop new vendor relationships.
• Source and procure raw materials, negotiating vendor pricing, terms

• Cut & Sew: Work with Head of Production largely on cut & sew pieces.
• Local vendor experience: in-person vendor visits, ability to directly source vendors and materials, experienced in price negotiations and maintaining vendor relationships
• Team mindset: Works well within a team to effectively complete projects - no task is too big or small. Willing to both mentor teammates and learn from senior production staff

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills within given guidelines
• Excellent relationship-building and vendor management skills
• Strong organizational abilities with a track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred
• Must meet physical requirements listed in the Coordinator role, including lifting, standing, and driving

Compensation:

This role is full time, hourly, and is based on a 32.5 hour week. It may include occasional overtime. Benefits include health, vision, and dental options as well as 401K.

Base rate: $39 - $46 per hour.
