Job summary

Axiom Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to help keep production running smoothly for a manufacturing company in Winchester, VA. Responsibilities include reviewing production schedules, aligning material needs with inventory using JDE, updating line schedules, and expediting parts with manufacturing teams.

You will track trailers, assist with validations, cycle counts, and inventory discrepancies, and travel between campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and compare material needs with inventory using JDE.

• Coordinate expedited parts to daily production plans with manufacturing teams.
• Coordinate movement and expediting of parts through the transportation network.
• Track trailer counts and communicate concerns to the planning team.
• Assist with production paperwork validations, cycle counts, and inventory checks.
• Communicate material expedites and inventory updates to scheduling teams.
• Travel between company campuses in a personal vehicle as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and compare material needs with available inventory using JDE.
• Update production line schedules as needed.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to add expedited parts to daily production plans.
• Coordinate the movement and expediting of parts through the transportation network.
• Track full and empty trailer counts and communicate trailer concerns to the appropriate planning team.
• Assist with production paperwork validations, cycle counts, packaging item validations, and inventory discrepancies.
• Communicate material expedites and inventory updates with scheduling teams to help maintain accurate production and order completion estimates.
• Travel between company campuses using a personal vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm (weekends/overtime as needed)

Payrate: $26.00/hr
