Job description

Job Summary: The Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing the packing, shipping and loading of orders. The Production Coordinator may also deliver coffee and related products to Saxbys cafes and wholesale partners in Saxbys provided vehicle.

What You Will Own

  • Daily production: bag, pack, ship, deliver, and organize orders.
  • Managing roastery inventory: Counting, communicating, tracking lead times, and reordering from suppliers as needed
  • Cleaning and maintenance: this includes but is not limited to the roasting machines, roasting area, and common areas.
  • Receiving: Checking incoming shipments from suppliers, unpacking and organizing inventory, and collecting invoices

Who You Will Support

  • Lead Roaster: Bagging roasted coffee, organizing green coffee inventory, weighing out green coffee to blend ratios, communicating roasted coffee demand

What Success Looks Like

  • All cafe orders shipped on time and in correct quantities
  • Roastery workspaces kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Supply inventory quantities kept at reasonable stock levels
