Job summary

Printing and Packaging Recruiting Service is seeking a Production Coordinator in NY to manage job tickets, order entry and end-to-end tracking through manufacturing and shipping.

The role requires 3–5 years in production coordination within printing environments, superb communication, and strong organizational skills. Collaboration with sales and production is essential; experience with ERP/print management systems is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Write up job tickets, input orders, and track jobs from start to shipping.
• Use ERP system to input and track jobs.
• Order materials and ensure all information is provided for manufacturing.
• Serve as liaison among clients, sales and production, keeping all parties informed.
• Prepare and execute billing statements and assist billing processes.

Job Description: Specialty printing and converting company in LI, NY is searching to hire an experienced Print Production Coordinator.Responsibilities include:Write up job tickets, order entry, and job tracking throughout the entire manufacturing process through to shipping.Use company ERP system to input and track jobs.Ensure and order proper materials for jobs.Make sure all necessary information is provided to manufacturing to complete jobs.Act as the liaison among the clients, sales and production departments keeping all parties informed of updates and changes.Support and work closely with top salesman tracking jobs from order entry through to billing.Frequent client interaction.Prepare and execute proper billing statements.Qualifications include:Minimum of 3 - 5 years' production coordinating, planning or project management experience in commercial sheetfed offset, direct mail and/or digital printing environment.Working knowledge of prepress, offset and digital printing, binding and finishing operations.Must have superb communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Strong project management skills.Able to multi-task in a busy manufacturing environment.Attention to detail required.Working knowledge of computerized Print Management System; such as Monarch, PSI, EFI etc. preferred.Proficient on MSO.Excellent opportunity to work with a high quality printing and converting company that is dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.Starting base salary range $75,000 - $90,000 plus excellent benefits, 401k match, PTO and vacation and year end bonus..
