Your Role

The Production Coordinator position supports manufacturing at the MilliporeSigma St Louis Broadway site. In this role, you will assist the manufacturing teams with production readiness, inventory maintenance, material movement, and batch planning. The coordinator will assess material needs against approved BOMs and coordinate with procurement to successfully meet manufacturing targets and schedules. Received materials will be tracked through release and transferred to manufacturing areas. Upon consumption into the manufacturing process, remaining inventory will be transferred back into inventory.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform cycle counts on production inventory; process inventory discard reports and submit to management.
2. Transfer orders of materials into the production area.
3. Waste transfer material to discard.
4. Stage and deliver consumables to appropriate locations.
5. Pull and prepare materials and components for manufacturing.
6. Work within OSHA guidelines for safe working environments.
7. Adhere to all local SOPs and quality requirements.
8. Communicate with management and across departments.

Physical Attributes

• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 35 lbs independently; 50 lbs with assistance.
• Wear appropriate PPE such as safety shoes and goggles.

Working hours:

Monday through Friday, 2 pm - 10:30 pm.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, OR
• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years’ experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years in a cGMP setting, manufacturing, planning, or inventory analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven success in interdepartmental communication.
• Familiarity with manual, electric, and walking stacker pallet jacks.
