Job description

PCX is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our production lines by interfacing with materials and planning to maintain flow.

A Day In The Life

  • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed production schedules in collaboration with planning and production to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor the flow of materials and components between departments to align with production schedules.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, materials, engineering and quality to maintain flow of materials to the line(s).
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve any issues related to the procurement, delivery, and transportation of materials.
  • Maintain inventory control and accuracy via accurate use of SAP to record material movements.
  • Assist materials team in inventory audits as required.
  • Promotes and demonstrates safe work habits.
  • Supports a company climate of continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Champion other production projects as assigned by manager.
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • BA/BS in STEM or Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
  • 2 years experience in the construction of large electrical racks.
  • Warehouse and inventory experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
